Cancellation & Refund Policy

Last updated: June 12, 2026

We understand that travel plans can change. This policy explains how cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds are handled for tours booked with Rafting in Permet in Përmet, Albania.

1. How to Cancel or Reschedule

To cancel or reschedule your booking, contact us as soon as possible via WhatsApp at +355 69 202 2481 or by email at [email protected], quoting the name and date used for your original booking.

2. Cancellations by You

  • More than 48 hours before your tour: Free cancellation or rescheduling, with no charge.
  • Within 48 hours of your tour: We will do our best to accommodate a reschedule to another available date, subject to availability.
  • No-shows: If you do not arrive at the agreed meeting point and time without prior notice, the booking will be treated as cancelled.

Because payment for most bookings is made on the day of the activity rather than in advance, the majority of cancellations do not involve a refund — they simply mean the booking is no longer held. If you have paid a deposit or made an advance payment (for example, for group or multi-day bookings), please refer to the specific terms agreed at the time of booking, or contact us for clarification.

3. Cancellations or Changes by Us

Most of our activities, including rafting, run rain or shine. However, if our guides determine that weather or river conditions (for example, flash flooding, electrical storms, or unsafe water levels) make an activity unsafe, we may:

  • Postpone or reschedule your activity to another available date or time slot, at no extra cost; or
  • Offer an alternative activity of similar value; or
  • Provide a full refund if no suitable alternative is available and you have already made a payment.

We will always try to notify you of any weather-related changes as early as possible.

4. Group and Multi-Day Bookings

For larger group bookings or multi-day packages (such as our 2-day "Ultimate Weekend" combo), cancellation terms may be agreed individually at the time of booking, since these often involve coordination with accommodation and additional logistics. Any such special terms will be communicated to you in writing (e.g., via email or WhatsApp) before your booking is confirmed.

5. Health and Safety Exclusions

If a participant is unable to take part on safety grounds (for example, being under the influence of alcohol, not meeting minimum age/weight requirements for an activity, or a medical condition that our guides reasonably believe poses a risk), this is treated as a cancellation by the customer under Section 2 above.
